ClickandFlirt.com Is Out There To Con You (REVIEW)

Click FlirtAnother one of the sites owned and run by the Together Networks Holdings Limited. A company that is behind several of other online dating services we have already reviewed. Will ClickandFlirt.com fall into the same category as a scamming online dating site? Does it use the same old tricks to con and rip off its members? We explain the findings of our investigation here and invite your comments and questions at the end.

Did you know they take and reuse your info?

In the pages with Terms of Use and Privacy Policy there are sections informing you that by signing up you are agreeing to the terms of use that all your personal information you post on your profile can be legally taken by the company and reused throughout their other websites and the websites of other companies that may be affiliated with. This includes the photos, age, personal interests, information, and everything you attach on your ClickandFlirt.com profile. Now, you have no way of knowing about this unless you read the terms of use document, which we find to be very unfair. For your convenience, we have copied one of the sections that explain these actions.

FROM THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: “By posting information or content including but not limited to copyrighted content, name and likeness and photographs to your profile pages or any public area of the Services, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to us, our Partner Sites and Group Companies, a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide license to use, copy, publish, display, reformat, translate and distribute, and broadcast, such information or content and to grant and authorize sub-licenses of the same. Specifically please note that we may use any of your content, including your photographs, for the purposes of advertising or publicity.”

Fabricated ‘Staff Profiles’ on ClickandFlirt.com

Although in the terms of use agreement the site claims that these so called ‘Staff Profiles’ (which are completely made-up and created by the site) will not be used in any way to mislead you or scam you – we are not so sure about it. Just think about it, what are they doing with the information that they take from you and other real people who ever tried to find a date on one of their sites? Also, how can you be sure whether the profiles of women you see are genuine or created by using someone else’s photos and personal info? Well, you cannot. And, that makes it confusing to use this site, since you are never sure who you are communicating with.

FROM THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: “We may, from time to time, create profiles which are created, maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”). The purpose of these Staff Profiles is to enable us to ensure our Services are operating properly by testing the Services, features and functionalities, and to research our products and Services.”
